Our client is looking for a Backend Engineer to join the first-of-its-kind platform that is disrupting the travel industry norms by empowering travel lovers, freelancers & creators to become travel entrepreneurs. The founders of the business have been responsible for multiple successful start-ups including a Series D funded home rental provider Onefinestay.

Since its inception, they have experienced exponential growth moving through Seed & Series A funding ($18.5M) in less than 10 months. Now boasting an incredible group of investors, they have also accrued nearly 500 advisors/users around the world (with over 30,000 people on the waitlist). To match their growth, they are now looking to acquire talented engineers to join their consolidated engineering squad and influence the next generation of their software.

The platform you will be building is looking to revolutionize travel by enabling anyone to become a travel advisor through an innovative client and booking management system. The platform allows individuals to leverage their travel knowledge into an accessible portfolio; offering a tailored experience of hidden gems and unique excursions.

Their current product is built with Python in the backend and React in the front end. This is a mid-level backend focused role with opportunities to work across the stack in your PDP.

For a mid-level role, they are offering up to $150k depending on level, in addition to an excellent equity & benefits package.

Their HQ is based in New York and they operate on a flexible hybrid work pattern (a couple of days in the office)
