Following a $60m funding round, a Tech 4 Good FinTech organisation are looking for Back-End software engineers to help them scale their product offering.
Within the role you’ll building a tech-for-good platform making a genuinely ethical societal impact, bridging the digital finance gap in emerging economies. You’ll be in safe hands, the founders of the business have also been responsible for multiple successful start-ups including the fastest growing NGO globally.
The platform you’ll build specifically enables immigrant communities to direct money to their families in their country of birth rapidly and without excess fees or hidden costs – a vitally crucial service and one of the first of its kind.
Their principal cultural value is “impact first” – they will only pursue products and strategies that serve the communities they hope to help, even at the expense of more lucrative avenues.
You’ll be working in their back-end engineering team working with Kotlin along with AWS, Terraform for both API creation and integrating their platform into multiple financial service providers globally. Their product team also works with React Native, GraphQL among other technologies although this would be a lesser part of your responsibilities.
