Junior DevOps Engineer

Salary: up to £50,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Hybrid Role (must travel to Crawley office 1-2 times a week and must be based within the UK)

Overall job purpose

You will be responsible for the ongoing support and development of the hybrid cloud environments. You will be working in a team working across a range of products and systems within the Datacentre and Cloud technology stack. The role will involve liaising with the different products owners within National Technology to build cloud resources needed as part of projects to support the business needs and ensuring compliance with required security accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the Azure platform to enable application and service deployments
• Engineer solutions on Azure using infrastructure-as-code methods
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking supported by the Networking Team
• Support the development teams as required in the design and build of solutions
• Manage the governance of the environment, ensure best practices are followed
• Maintain code library and documentation

Skills Required

• Strong experience in Azure Infrastructure and services (compute, storage, and networking)
• Strong experience of using CI/CD
• Experience using Terraform
• Experience of working in a hybrid cloud environment
• Strong analytical / investigative skills
