Full Stack Software Developer (PHP & React)

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Location: Mainly Remote (must travel to Chorley office once a month)

My client are a Software as a Service development company who specialise in workflow management solutions within Energy Efficiency, Eco and Renewables.

Technical Focus

You'd primarily use React, Laravel, PHP & GraphQL with upskilling across each of these areas. Everything you’d touch is 100% greenfield with exciting new product builds where’d you’d work closely with Designers and have an influence from the earliest stages. There are regular salary reviews and defined progression pathways to Lead and Architecture roles too.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, develop specifications and write high-quality, maintainable, reusable code to develop systems; conduct unit testing of developed objects/code; document the design and build of systems
• Assist with any functional queries that may arise from business users following releases
• Collaborate with and demonstrate new features to stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Conduct routine concept design through the full development life cycle
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products
• Interact with clients to understand change requirement
• Maintain and create product knowledge documentation for use within development and support teams
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems

Requirements

• 2 Years Commercial PHP experience
• Commercial experience with Laravel
• 1 Year commercial React experience
• Commercial experience with API GraphQL & Rebing/GraphQL
• Proven experience of programming and systems development methodologies especially Agile
• Proven experience of working with daily releases and high output of development work
• Unit testing of Models, Migrations and Controllers

This is a mainly remote role with the requirement of going into the Chorley office once a month and must be based within the UK, paying from £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and no sponsorship is available.
