Job title: PHP Developer

Location: Gateshead – FULLY REMOTE

Salary: £35,000-£45,000

Operating from the Head Office in Gateshead in the UK, their Reston Virginia office in the US, and Perth office in Australia, my client serves millions of customers around the world on a monthly basis.

The Role

Demand for our products is growing and we’re scaling quickly – now we’re looking for an enthusiastic, driven and talented PHP middle weight developer to join our team. You should have at least 2 to 4 years commercial experience and a proven track record of success. You will join an existing team of talented developers in a growing company which is expanding globally. You will be responsible for building and maintaining functionality for accessibility systems used by millions of users worldwide.

Essential Skills:

• PHP (ideally V7.4 & 8)
• MySQL
• MVC Framework knowledge (ideally Laravel)
• NodeJS/Typescript would be great, Engix/Docker also beneficial
• Well organised
• Communication (stakeholder management experience)
  
  

Desirable Skills:

• Javascript - Native and jQuery
• Good understanding of Linux based server environment (Debian/Ubuntu preferable)
• Good knowledge of GIT
• ORM Knowledge and previous experience using an ORM (Doctrine preferable)
